What types of contracts should I think of with copyright on AI?

ASSIGNMENT AGREEMENT

In an assignment agreement for the creation of a AI system, there is usually a copyright on the AI system. This copyright can be transferred to the client, or a license can be given. Make sure that if you are the client, you are entitled to the delivery of the program and in the case of copyright transfer also the delivery of the source code.

PURCHASE AGREEMENT

With a purchase agreement, it is also possible to buy a copyright or a license to a copyright of an implemented model. The same precautions apply here as with the assignment agreement.

EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT

The effect of an employment contract is that all intellectual property, and therefore copyright in the form of source code, belongs to the employer. The employer can then exploit the copyright.
