AI glossary from EU research center

The European Union's Joint Research Center (JRC) noticed that discussions about AI do not use a consistent set of definitions and terms. To ensure that there are fewer misunderstandings in discussions between policymakers, academics and industry, the JRC has therefore developed a glossary based on publications made at the interface between those different groups. The list contains 230 terms along with definitions and references to sources.

The JRC is an independent research institute whose goal is to provide the EU with the knowledge needed for evidence-based policies.
